1st Call for Posters PLIN Day 2017:
“Construction Grammar: new advances in theoretical and applied linguistics”
We would like to inform you that the ‘PLIN Day 2017’ will be organized on Friday 12 May 2017 in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).
The PLIN Day is an annual one-day thematic conference hosted by the Linguistics Research Unit of Université catholique de Louvain. The topics of the previous editions of the PLIN Day were “Measuring linguistic complexity” (2015) and “Language and the new (instant) media” (2016). The central topic of the PLIN Day 2017 will be “Construction Grammar: new advances in theoretical and applied linguistics”.
The aims of the conference are the following: (a) to present the most recent developments of ongoing research within the framework of Construction Grammar by covering a wide spectrum of fields, topics and research problems, and (b) to highlight the benefits of a Construction Grammar approach for both theoretical and applied linguistics.
The conference will include 5 plenary talks and 2 poster sessions. We are happy to announce that the following KEYNOTE SPEAKERS have accepted our invitation:

We invite abstracts for posters dealing with Construction Grammar in any linguistic domain. Abstracts can be written in English or French and should be max. 300 words (excluding bibliography). Please submit your abstract in pdf format to: plindayucl@uclouvain.be

• Notification of acceptance for a poster presentation: 28 February 2017
